MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT - COVID-19

JULY 2020 - TO OUR PLAYERS AND MEMBERS - COVID-19 Restrictions

With the reinstatement of stage 3 restrictions, the Club will not be able to operate our training programs, and the facilities. The Club is working closely with Rugby Victoria, in co-ordination with all clubs, to make what we can of the season, with Rugby Victoria optimistic that the season is not over - Government restrictions permitting. Whilst we have been delivering training programs over an extended period, delivering new equipment, member kits and sustaining the additional costs caused by the restrictions, a reduced competition season will have a significant impact on all club revenues. The Club relies heavily on the activation of our club facilities and the income from events during competition to provide the member benefits which fees alone do not cover.

To sustain the club through this time, we are asking all players and members to continue to support the club through their membership and stay in touch with coaches and managers. We will provide an update when we get more information from Rugby Victoria on what the realistic options for a competition are.

Kind Regards

Eric Tom
